On
Monday, November 9, 2009, Carl
Franz, Steve Barry, and Bill Larduskey sponsored the John Helmstetter
Farm Fund trip on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad to raise
funds for rebuilding the Helmstetter family's barn that
burned on
July 9, 2009. Two other fund-raiser trips were run
during
October. A check for $40001 was presented to John Helmstetter
and
his family during this trip to help pay for rebuilding the iconic
